So I'm aware that constant white stringy poop is indicative of internal parasites / intestinal worms. But what if I occasionally see this along with regular brown clumps of waste that quickly dissipate.

The two fish that I recently observe this from are both great eaters, fat and act / look completely normal.

Only recent change has been feeding mysis more frequently. Went from feeding spirurina brine in the am and blood worms in the pm to feeding spirurina brine (am), mysis (noon), blood worms (pm).

The mysis is all white in appearance and I'm assuming it may be causing the occasional white stringy poop. Any thoughts?

PS : I'm thinking of not feeding mysis for a week and see if doing this eliminates the white stringy poop. This will confirm that they are not sick.

I believe its internal parasite, I feed frozen, mostly mysis and never seen white poop, its always the usual one. I don't think the color of the food will influence the color of the poop, similar to us humans. I would suggest treating for internal parasites.
