Recently I got a package of Ocean Nutrition Green Algae sheets from amazon. I have been doing this for quite a few years. I understand that they give of a smell of some sort, that of seaweed, or sushi type smell. However, this pack I got a couple days ago is super strong smelling. Whole house type smell. Was kinda gross. I have moved them to my garage and now my garage smells. Thoughts?

I'd toss it as well. Possible some moisture got into it or the garlic started to degrade. Foods with garlic get absolutely rank when they've spoiled...

I buy this exact algae from petco and have never had a bad smell with it, I wouldn't use it and would call Amazon to let then know.

It’s garlic. My fish only eats ON sheets for some reason. I have two bags of TLF algae they wouldn’t even touch...

My fish love the stuff. Ting, my Tang eats so much you can see bulges in her belly. Never had a stinky pack tho. Never thought to look on Amazon for this. Good to know. Probably a little cheaper than LFS.
