I have two 3mth old Ocean Revive 2080's for sale. I moved back to t5's to give that a go again. If anyone is interested let me know. Everything works, they are very clean units. I will do $300/each shipped. They will come in the original boxes with all accessories, remote's and what not. These are very intense lights and two will cover a 6' tank easily. I would imagine hung high enough one will cover a 48" tank just fine.

Just curious, why did you go back to T5, do you feel they are better than LED for growing coral?

Hi LakeCity, I ran t5's for 6yrs, then mh's for 2yrs and LED exclusively for the last 5yrs. I just do not have the stability or growth like I would have liked for sps since having led. Since going back to T5 my sps are colored up well and growing well. I just don't think LED's are great for sps yet. Will they grow them, sure, but not nearly as well as t5's or mh's.

For zoa's and lps I never had any issue's with led's.

I have a 40 breeder I'm building, I'm debating on lights because I want Zoas and Lps plus I'd like a few sps , like a mixed reef. I was looking and the 36 inch units which had metal halide and t5s. Would that burn up the softies?
