I will be purchasing one of these light with in the next day or two. Anyone here who is using them your thoughts would be appreciated and pictures 2 thanks!

I have 4 but have only had them for a few weeks. They are pretty slick but I can't comment on growth yet. I used to have evergrow it2060's and these have similar components, so I imaging them to be comparable performance-wise (which was good for me). The t247 have a better spread though.

I mounted mine with aluminum angle iron over my 220. I hung them sideways because my tank is 24" deep. Better front/back coverage.

Programming is fine. Just on/off and intensity setting for each channel. Coming from the it2060, this is a downgrade, but it is fine. I opened up my fixtures and put three whites in each blue channel and replaced about four whites and the two greens in each white channel with blues. This allows me to have the white channel come on at 1pm and go off at 10pm. The Blues come on at 3pm and go off at midnight. This is my substitution for sunrise/sunset without having a really blue look for the blues or a really white look for the whites. Works fine. Here's my rack before installing.

Everything looks good!!! Can anyone tell me if the leds have any protection from like water backsplash? And what the longevity of these fixtures are how long they last?

Looks nice, good job.

So, if you have your intensity set at 100% white, with your set time to come on at 1:00 pm, bam,.....on at 100% all at once, and the same at lights off ?

Well, yes, bam. They don't ramp up or down. I surely wouldn't run them at 100%. I have mine set at 60% blue and 20% white.

The have optics over the leds. Longevity, who knows? They have two fans for cooling. The leds are easily replaceable if they go bad for $1.50 each.

100% was just for effect you know. lol....

I can't imagine any of this class LED fixture's on at !00% !

I have had mine for a month now, they are decent light for the price. Mine have a disco ball effect, especially with red and the greens. I have them now 16 inches about the tank hanging from a DIY fixture I made from Home depot conduit and spray painted it black with corrosion resistance paint. Set me back all of 10 bucks and the guy at home depot bent the conduit for me.

Hey ranger can u post pics of your diy fixture?

I have 2 of them. Gotta say they are great leds. My chalices and montis love them. I run them about 80 blue and 20 white. For about a year now. Can't complain

I know this a little old thread but I have the article t247 hanging 11inches over a IM Nuevo 20. I need help with picking what I should have channels intensity set at. The tank height is 13 inches. I have lips right now but managed to kill 2 chalice keeping them in the shade. Anyone have any thoughts
