I recently converted from a 46 gallon bowfront with t5's to a 60 gallon Nuvo and Ocean Revives. The tank is BTA dominant, with one S026 mounted about 14 inches above the tank. I run my blues at 90%. and whites at about 75%. I run a skimmer, 4 inch filter socks, and a poly filer with activated carbon. My levels are as follows Sal=1.025, Alk=9.0, Cal=410, Mag=1300, NO3=trace, PO4=trace. Everything in the tank looks great except for my BTA's. I have a few maxi minis, and 5+ clams. I am at a loss as to why my bubbles look so rough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would venture to guess they are stressed from the amount of light, My BTA is happy under my ocean revive and the lighting is only at 47% blue and 19% whites which are about 18-20 off the top of the tank with a stock fusion screen.

I have 2 t247 @ 90 % blue 40% white and 2 t5 and my bubble tip is on top

10 inches above water and slowly did 5-10% increase in power a week. Lights were very strong at first shocked a few corals

I'd agree, light shock. Also have a nem tank under OceanRevives (mine are at 70% blue, 20% white - whites on for 5 hours a day, blues for 11 hours). Hanging about 10" off the water surface.
