I was wondering if I can add my ocean rock which I used for my Malawi cichlids in my reef tank.

If you had used it in a FW tank, by all means, give it a good rinse and toss it in.

I agree it should be safe,might even help stabilize the pH.I have used "freshwater" lace rock in my saltwater tank before.

The only thing that would hold me back from using it would be if it was ever exposed to medications especially copper when in your fresh water tank. Other than that I can't think of any reason you couldn't use it.

Yea, as long as you did not treat it with any copper meds it should be fine.
