Hello reefers, I got me a find today with an Oceanic 72 Bow Front tank that has been dry and sitting for a few years, along with the tank got a wet/dry, some sand and something that in the 80's must have been a Chiller, now just a rust pyle lol. I want to re seal the tank but my question i: Do I remove the old silicone or seal on top of it?

Thanks in advance

Oceanic made nice tanks.

On the resealing, I would just leak test the tank in the garage. If it passes, I would leave it alone. If it does leak, you would have to pull the panels apart to reseal it properly.
