Oceanmagik versus Algae

Hi Everyone,

Quick question...

Will dosing Oceanmagik potentially help, or hurt the small outbreak of what looks like a brown slime algae i have going on in my tank. I am 3 months into a 32g build, and have some brown slimy algae that is starting to take over the substrate and some of the rocks. Is dosing oceanmagik going to feed the algae with nutrients, or pull nutrients out of the water because of the phytoplankton consuming them?

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
Here's one.
It could be both.
The bugs as they die and the food in suspension will add a small amount of nutints. But the bugs may eat the stuff in the tank.
So, both. Maybe.

I deciced to start dosing it again, i will let you know the results from what i see. bare in mind i am also manually removing the algae about 15 minutes per day to keep the growth down...after the first day where i heavily dosed it...i didnt see any more grow, but its still early.
