I have had these two for 2.5 months with zero issues. The only other livestock in the tank is a cleaner shrimp. However a week ago I added four small snails that my LFS said would be good for going into the sand below to stir it up. As a precaution I did dip them in Ruby Reef Hydroplex for 10+ minutes as directed. About four days later one of the clowns began not eating much. The past two days I haven't seen it really eat at all and it swims lower in the tank more often than not. Usually both of them are up higher towards the front during the day. I can't see anything on it and have read up on clownfish disease/brook but don't really see signs of it. I really don't see anything so an internal parasite is the only thing I can think of, which is what wiped my tank out about 4 months ago. After that I went completely fallow for 45 days and had Copper Power in the tank, which I have now eradicated obviously with Cuprisorb. I am thinking about putting it into my QT and adding General Cure to see what happens, but my Coral Beauty is in there that I bought about 4 weeks ago. I was actually going to introduce it into the tank this weekend until this issue with the clown began. Ideas???

How old are the clowns? How old is the tank? Do you see anything on the bodies? Is one bullying the other?

FYI: Fallow 45 days does not cover most parasites. 76 days is recommended.

They are about 1.5" long so they aren't real young. The tank is just over 1 year old. Nothing apparent on the body and I've seen both Ich and Velvet before. In addition to going fallow 45 days or 6.5 weeks (6 weeks was what majority of articles recommended) I also had Copper Power levels of around 1.75 for that time too. I am currently treating the tank with Rally, day 2. Everything was completely fine until I got those snails.

Just an update a couple weeks later. After treating with General Cure as directed on the box and also treating with Ruby Reef Rally for five days, everything is good and healthy. All fish have been eating well for over a week and appear healthy. Did a 10% water change and turned the skimmer and UV back on.
