ocellaris clown Pair possible wanting to mate?

So got this pair together at lfs one bigger one slightly smaller and slightly darker. Seems the bigger one is female as to be the dominate one and the smaller one seems like a male as it will sometimes lay on its side lol. Well they were hanging on the right side of tank under the heater and now switch back to the left in the front of the tank and are I’m not catching it but there is definitely less sand lol. They will start laying right down there together then suddenly one will turn the other way and have there tails together. Start twitching but the tails together is strange looking. Then one of them gets up leaves to the heater again. Strange stuff with them lol keeps me entertained on the couch watching them lol
