My tank is 3 months old and I started off with a Kupang Damsel and Ocellaris Clown who was full size. The clown has become a bit aggressive with the Kupang (which doesn't seem to bother the Kupang) I regret not getting a paired set of clowns from the get go. Is it too far along to try and get a smaller clown and try to pair with my original? If it works would that tone down some of clown # 1 aggressive behavior?

28 gallon JBJ I don't want to push my bio load and put the fish in a bad situation. Other inhabitants are 6 blue hermits , 1 tiger sand conch and a cleaner shrimp. Thoughts?

FWIW I have a breeding pair of Ocellaris Clownfish in a standard 20 gallon tank and they won't tolerate much of anything in there except invertebrates. Even though your tank is bigger, don't be surprised if they want it all to themselves once they've bonded. Don't let this deter you from adding more fish though, just keep in mind you might have to remove them if things get a little tense. (hopefully not) GL.
