Hey,
Just wanted to post about how great this vendor/individual is in terms of product quality and customer support. I've made five different orders with Matt at Octo Aquatics. Two of them were for custom work and the other three were for standard items available on his website.
The communication is always excellent. If you give Matt a rough sketch he will get back to you with a final design including the dimensions, price, and when you can expect to receive it. All of my custom requests have been spot on and he really helps to answer any questions regarding your design. I also like that Matt is willing to offer advice or input when requested.
The quality of the products I've received on each instance has been great. The acrylic work is beautiful and not sloppy or low quality looking at all. These products look of a professional grade and certainly hold up well. I've been using a rather intricate and tall frag rack he made for over six months and its still sturdy despite repeatedly moving it, cleaning it, etc.
Perhaps the best thing about Octo Aquatics is the price. Each and every time I make an order or request something custom it's always a pleasant exhale follow by a "that's not bad" when it comes to pricing. I've never ordered or got a quote on anything and thought "too expensive", if anything the prices are too cheap!
Not trying to shill here guy, but I don't see a whole lot posted in this vendor forum or in other areas. I think this is one of the better vendor/members on the forum and I definitely recommend checking out the website for custom or standard orders.
