Octo Elite 200-int set up

Need some advice please
I am setting up a 150 gallon, first big kid tank with a trigger platinum sump and an Octo Elite 200-int
first time with a skimmer.....
I see suggested sump water height is 7.5 to 9 which we are at 8.5
but what is water height inside skimmer supposed to be, obviously as most of you know I really can't seem to find any great direction on setting up the first time and sepcific settings to get things going....

Have you searched YouTube for that particular model of skimmer? In terms of step-by-step instructions that's your best option.

That is a big skimmer for your size tank, you may want to put it on a timer. I tried my 200 Octopus Regal with the DC pump, I had 4 large fish, the skimmer was too big.
