Amazing tank and growth.

Curious if you see more copepods or sponges since using easy booster? Also if you noticed anything else using easybooster?

Thanks! I have a refugium that I stock twice a month with amphipods and copepods so always have an abundance even with a scooter Blenny eating them. I have noticed more sponge growth though. I can still say that the growth experienced with dosing both is much better than before. I haven’t used easysps without booster so don’t know if it does anything specifically

Love this tank, really similar to mine (32g cube) with really similar stocking.

Can I ask what general par or watts you running over these with the G5’s? Still trying to dial in my reefi LED and very curious on what you are running since it is the same tank size and you r getting great acro crusting...

Is the easy sps the only thing dosed? Any aminos or anything macro like roids? And do you dose the easysps via pump or just manual? Sorry for the questions just so curious bc of the similarities.

appreciate it! I run the g5 at 68% with half the channels at 50 and the other at 100. I get good enough par everywhere for acros. Top is 350 on the sides and 420 in the center. Mid tier drops about 50 par and the sand bed about 100 from the top.

I dose the easysps and booster via a dos pump. Also dose acropower and tropic marine all for reef on another dos. Every now and then I’ll spot feed reef chili but only when my phosphate drops below .08. The tank seems to react better around .08-.18 phos and 5-10 no3.

do you have a build thread? I’d love to check it out

Thanks for the info it helps, I’m around that same par but my white channels are pretty low all day. I may start ramping them up in the peak time.

I don’t have a build thread yet but plan on making one (ive been saying this for like 3 months), I have a fijicube 32 w/ 12g sump, mixed with buncha acro frags and LPS. I also use all for reef since day one and find it ridiculously easy to maintain. Also dose Red Sea AB+ nightly and phytochrom nightly (which exploded my pod population). I literally just bought easysps on wed to start dosing.

I’ll hit you up when I get a build up! I’m also gonna go over your build a bit more closely to compare so thanks for sharing def interesting

not just a home move from tank to same tank but moved surgically, but assembled surgically from different tanks and starting materials too/sand and you made it work with carry over corals.


your cycling thread is in harmony.

you do not have eight different means posted to handle things, corals don't permit us to vary from what corals need by eight ways and still live. your audience advice directly matches the outcome directly matches your initial planning written out and a skip cycle did occur. Ill make this the top first link in the microbiology of reef tank cycling, where to not do a skip cycle is a crime. its very cutting edge, 98% of the hobby waits a month I'm certain.

this aquarium can officially make the start date of literally any marine aquarium convention you want to cart it to.


and most others will be ready sometime around the end of December ish on good api.

Some have asked so I’ll just post it here. This is a shot of the KZ stuff I dose manually 2-3xs a week. Auto dosing is below

TM All for Reef 20ml a day using DOS
EasySps 4ml a day using DOS
Easy Booster 3ml a day using DOS
Acropower 1ml a day using DOS

I was at 4ml of the booster and acropower but saw a rise in phosphate over a 4 weeks period so I dialed them back a bit. Once I finish the acropower I won’t buy another bottle. Phos is stable now at those levels. I also change out my CO2 scrubber media every Thursday before I leave for the weekend. My average PH is 8.37 over a rolling 7 day time period.

Mag 1413
Phos .15
Nitrate 5

These are the levels I run and average out at each week. I run a trident and test 8xs a day. Phos and nitrate I test every Monday and Thursday. Adjust AFR up or down based on alk consumption and the rest follow suit. Refugium helps keep NO3 stable and the PO4 I control with KZ Snow Plus and do water changes twice a month:
