Hey, given that I cant find much on octopus anemones and have not found another like mine anywhere I though maybe we could find people who are knowledgeable or have experience with them to compare notes. I love my Octo. He is beautiful and unique but quite the invert preditor. He has killed alot of my snails. From dwarfs to a full sized sand conch. He is crazy sticky. At least as much as a carpet nem. And more than my previous sticky champ, my elegans. Mine is red speckles over white and dark stripes with a dark center. It stretches about a foot from tip to tip. Stays buried all day. Emerges at dusk and stays out till dawn. Even my 7+inch hippo tang stopped swimming near it before its banishment to the fuge. I saw a video of one grabbing a full sized sea hare. Crazy strong.
I would love to find fellow keepers. If you are one or know one please share :)

Thanks guys. Please if you see anybody else with one let them know that I am looking to Share info.

My nem buries itself at dawn an emerges at dusk.

Thanks guys. My tank was so full when I saw this guy but I had never seen one like it in the ten years I've been doing this. So I had to get him. If you know anybody else that has one send them this way please

A couple of those pics look closer than most that I have found. Very very good. Only thing that bothers me is that the pictures call it a glass anemone. LOL again none of the pictures are exact. But at least the flex of color enCompass the entire tentacles like mine. And there are red ones. I'll have to research this type. Thank you very much

Welcome...couldn't find much...let us know he s an awesome speciman!! :)

I did a water change last night. Killed all of the pumps. He looked so huge without flow. Should have got pics then but was too busy. I'll try tonight.

The one I have is at least 10 to 12 in from tentacle tip to tentacle tip
