My octo has been in the tank for a month or so and has been doing great. Within the last few days, the right portion of the coral has started to turn white and recede.

My parameters:
Alk: 9.4
Calc: 440
Mag: 1400
P04: 0
Nitrates: 0

I honestly don't know what to do. The coral normally sits mid tank below Radion G4's with lowish flow. Any suggestions would be helpful..

The one side is pretty far gone and the other side looks like it's bleaching and unhappy. How intense do you have the light set to? Midway up the tank with the light turned up pretty high may have been to much for it. They generally thrive in low light and low flow. Keep it in the sand bed and see if the one head improves. As far as parameters they all look good. How old is the tank? You're not registering any ammonia are you ?

They were running the Radio AB+ settings. I light acclimated for 3 weeks starting at 20% intensity ramping up to 50%. I DID see this coral expel zooxanthellae which is why I started the light acclimation, but that was a long time ago. How long does it take for symptoms/issues of too MUCH light to show up?

As a side note, it's been on the sand bed since Saturday. It's a low flow area. Realistically, do you see a wall colony coming back from this?

You still have the one head, so there is a chance it'll come back. And it could take a while to recover.

Good to know, thanks. Do you think it's possible this is brown jelly disease?
It doesn't appear so. Usually its very noticeable around the base of the polyp. And from what I can see in your picture there isn't any. I'm guessing it just didnt like the lighting. #reefsquad any other comments or suggestions?
