New batch of water for what? A wc? Did you add ca or was it the salt?

I was mixing up a new batch of water for a water change.The reef calculator I was using gave me a ridiculously high amount of ca to add to the new water to match my tank water. I added less than than the calculator suggested and it was still way too high.

It is likely fine, especially since water changes with it won't take it that high.

550 ppm is my usual suggested cut off for doing something about rising calcium.

I just finished the water change. 50gal of 544 going into 200 gal of 427 came out to be 440 for the tank so everything worked out. Thank you for the info!
