I have this pair of missbar clowns. The female was fine till last night. All she does now is lay at the bottom with the male swimming over top of her. Not use what to think. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thank you. Yes all water has been tested. All other fish are just fine. She ate fine last night and the this.

Her respiration rate is rather high, are they in QT or in a display tank? How long have you had them. You say water is fine, I assume this is zero ammonia? No flashing or anything previous to this?

Me female has done the same exact thing but it happened when she lost her mate I just thought she was depressed. Here’s an idea try adding a very small clay flower pot in the tank not to small they both can’t fit in there but not to big either just enough room for them both. It could be she’s wanting to let eggs and doesn’t have a place to. Also can you post some pics I can’t see the video

They are in QT right now. I have had them for about two months. All good till last night. Yes ammonia is zero. No flashing but got a little aggressive when the other fish besides the make would come near her for the past couple days

Do you have an airstone in the QT? You may have low O2 in the tank. She could just be stressed.

Not sure its related, but mine did this just a couple weeks ago. She's in the DT with others and has been fine/normal for years. Then suddenly one evening breathing heavily and laying on the sand. I thought she was a goner but I put her in an acclimation box, and after 2 days she seemed fine again and back to her fiesty self.

For mine, I wonder if she was stung by the torch she hosts. Thats clearly not the case for yours.

All water tested. What kit are you using and what readings are you getting (numbers)
What filtration are you using in the QT tank?
Are you treating with anything in QT tank?

Adding an airstone will increase oxygen, and recommended
