My Clown fish has started acting very odd. He has been wedging himself between the glass and live rock (I mean really wedged) He just hangs there stuck, will come out for a minute and then go back. He doesn't see to be itching himself, just getting stuck. He also has these odd circles all over him, its not white dots like ich but more of a clear circle. It is mainly on his head and can only be seen on the black stripes. He is still eating daily.....any ideas?

Maybe he's just hosting that area and feels comfortable wedged in the corner lol

lol really? do they actually do that? I guess I thought they only hosted anemones. There are 3 anemones in the tank and he wont host any of them. when we bought him he was hosting a rose tip at the store. Any ideas about the clear looking dots? could It just be from the rocks? I will say that he has old scaring on his head, maybe wedging himself isn't a new thing :( He is an older fish. unfortunately where he wedges himself is really odd so hard to get a pic, I can try tonight though

Well a clear spot on him does not sound good. What does it loOk like actually? a ulcer or excess slime?
He could be wedging himself because he has a equilibrium problem or a hard time swimming. Wedging himself is not hosting.

its not just one clear spot, he has a few of them. It literally looks like a drawing of a bubble on him....even the shadowing that would be drawn on a bubble. They are very faint so I cannot get a picture. they look like this...the skin is not raised, just the outline looks like a bubble. They are about the size of a 1/4 of a pencil eraser
