odd behavior.

You'll want to use Prazi-Pro to finish off the flukes, if that's what it is. (Did you spot any of those sesame-seed things floating in the water after the dip? Those would be dead flukes.) i thiight i saw something of the sort i wasnt sure, but he went right back ti laying in his side about 5 minutes after the 5 minute dip. is this normal?

It doesn't kill unhatched eggs, so dose again in a week or so.

i thought i saw something come off him, but he was moving arout alot during the dip. he went right back to his side about 5 minutes after the dip. he was ticked off for a bit. what should i do now?

If I recall correctly, Prazi-Pro is reef-safe, with the exception of worms: Spaghetti worms, bristle worms, feather dusters and the like. Those guys could get wiped out by it. You'll want to remove any carbon, and shut off your skimmer while dosing. I've always used it in a quarantine tank, rather than the display.

Did you see anything like this (pic below) that came off during the FW dip? Has his condition improved since doing the FW dip?

i believe i saw like 2 or 3 in the tub i used. when i dipped him. i just wasnt sure if it worked because he went right back to his side in my display tank

his behavior hasnt changed. he was acting normal for maybe 10 minutes at first but then reverted to his laying down

hes actually moving around a little better he ate and still lays on side or stomache for extended periods of time. but hes moving a bit more

once i dosed the tank with prazipro my clown became instantly active. hes swimming all around right now. im waiting to see if he goes back on his side

Prazipro will force flukes off a fish in short order. It makes the worms spasm before they dislodge, which causes discomfort to the fish. So, that would cause him to swim all over the tank. Like trying to get fire ants off your body. :D

haha been there before, and thank you sooo much. it has really helped and i have learned alot in the process. i will keep you informed of any progress or regression if it occours over the next few days. again, thank you!

...and looks like the clown is recovering, happy for you.
