How afternoon all,

I'm hoping someone can give me some insight. I was at my LFS and they had several protein skimmers sitting out and they were selling them for $5.00. To good to be true right. Well I bought one because I had a $5.00 bill. Well it didn't come with a pump so I hooked my maxxi jet 1200 to it and letting it break in. No idea if it will work or not. Does anyone have experience or ever seen one of these? I do know it's a Jacksonville, Fl based company.

Welcome to R2R!! I’m not familiar with that particular skimmer but what a steal at $5 :)

I have -heard of this unit like 3 years ago, and its ironic as to how new it looks and the type of lift design.
I can say, due to size, MaxiJet will Not work, and you are looking more at a eheim series pump or Atman venture type

Id just use wood airstones in it. It would work very well if submerged dèep enough.
