Odd question: triggerfish poop

When our new blue jaw triggerfish poops, it looks like sugar or grains of sand pouring out. Is that normal? He eats like a pig.

Yes- some of my fish looks like theyre pooping grit. Foods like plankton, shrimp, fish meat and mussel when digested will show such appearance
