In a few months I will be getting a 75 gal reef-ready tank. Typical 75 gal, 48" tank.
My dad expressed concerns by another reefer, that he happened to meet at a car show, who said reef ready tanks has "The tendency to leak".
I understand that any tank can leak if not properly taken care of.. but what are the chances of a reef-ready leaking, say over a non-reef ready? Do you guys put extra silicone over the plumbing area as a precaution?
