Odontanthias borbonius

Great pics! We have a pair (I use that term loosely) of them in our reef and love them.

Mike terry are they hard to keep? Finicky eaters?

They have been very easy to keep for us. We started them on PE Mysis and Hikari Mysis and within a week had them eating whatever we offered including some flakes and pellets. We mostly feed a variety of frozen foods, but do include NLS pellets and occasionally some flakes.

They are deep water fish and prefer less intense lighting. Ours are very active and swim out in the open through out the day when the actinics are on, but stay towards the back of the tank when the MH's come on.

I've got a pair of them in my d/t. Awesome fish!! First anthias I've ever bought that started eating the first day in the tank! They get alOng great with everything in the tank! One Ganges out by the entrance to a cave in the rocks, the other is most always out in the open. I was lucky enough to get both of them for 200$. Couldn't turn it down at that price!
