OK, I've been looking to get a MH/T5 combo fixture. I was planning on getting the 48 "Current USA outer orbit, but have heard from multiple people that the stock lights are horrible. In fact, I haven't heard anything positives about lighting straight from ANY fixture. So would it be beneficial to buy an Odyssea fixture and upgrade the lights and ballasts? This would be a cheaper route then buying an $800+ fixture (current USA) and have to replace everything anyways. Am I overlooking something, or does buying the $329 fixture (odyssea) and upgrading make more sense?

They only have the 60". Thanks for throwing that out there though

check back daily, they update all the time. Ive bought a bunch from them, paid $400 for my 48" 2x250 + 4x54 with warranty

How long do fixtures typically last? Im assuming quite awhile if they are taken care of...I'm just curious because I can purchase a outer orbit that is about 1 year old for $500. Does that sound like a pretty good deal. Also comes with brand new 14k phoenix bulbs.

if the bulbs are new (verify with receipt) then that isnt too bad.
