I've been in this hobby for about 5 years. I have a 180 reef tank. I keep up on everything and for the last few years I wasn't able to keep certain lps for no reason and some stuff would die for no reason. Long story short every night I look At my tank with a flashlight and I'm blown away what I found. It was almost a 3 foot oenone fulgida worm. I can't believe
this has been in my tank. By the looks of it it's been there for years. I keep up on everything and always am putting my hands in my tank when I clean it etc. I can't believe it. I also found white slim stuff on dead snails corals etc but never thought it was from a worm. Goes to show you there really can be anything in your tanks and if anyone ever starts seeing there snails start to die off with white slime all over them it could be a oenone fulgida worm. They can eat everything and really such a bad pest and wicked hard to catch. I got wicked lucky I had the chance and time to grab my massive tweezers and grab it. Also there the fastest and best hidden problem in your tank so you really won't know or see one unless you can notice the slime. Well I'm just sharing and the pics don't even do justice it's so big.
