Off brand pH / ORP probes

Has anyone had any experiences with off brand probes? Ones not manufactured by Neptune, Pinpoint, Milwaukee, etc? Looking for some descent probes right now that don't break the bank. Couple of the last ones that I purchased, though the were lab grade, failed inside of a few months. Was highly upset and had to trash them. At those prices I can buy cheaper and replace more often if need be if the so called higher quality isn't any better.

Let me hear some of your thoughts and experiences if you have purchased other makes.

Hi Bill, I have used, for lack of better terms, "less expensive," I had much better success with sticking with the probes labeled by the manufacturer. Some of these less expensive options wouldn't even dial in the first time, on multiple ports. It felt hit or miss.

I knew there were differences and that is great information. Just wondered if anyone had actually used any of the "less expensive" ones out there. If they won't calibrate then there's not much point. Always looking to save a few dollars, but not at the cost of my prized pieces.
