Here is my first blasto. It did have a dark reddish rim but turned very light due to too much light. I put it on the sandbed and in some shade and it's slowly gaining some color....and sprouted 6-7 new heads

The first one turned greener from when I first got it, when I frag it I'm going to try moving them around my tank to get the color back. The second one has held its color so far and pops under LEDs.
