remember this ian(bigian)?? , sorry the pics isnt that great, but the pic doesnt do this coral any justice...its getting way better colors now....this is one of my fav favias in my tank.

Thanks Mark, What else are you hiding I will try to take some more favia pictures the next time the Nikon is out. I just picked up an AC purple virus from IanI and another no name wild piece that last time I was in the bay.

heres my AC mystic green...its badas....from iani, they are both really super bright...ian i also has a tiger stripe chalice its pretty nice as well but i havent gotten my hands on it

finally picked up a mystic grape frag:

This is an awesome Favia. I was told this favia seems to really like indirect light/shade. I stuck my frag in a shady spot on my sandbed and it is holding a deep rich purple and vibrant green color.

yeah, i have noticed that with most of my favias. this one, too. i've had it for about a week and it was just laying on my tank bottom kind of on its side. the side that was up you can tell in the pic has the purple shifting color slightly. where it was 100% shaded is dark purple (back side in this pic).
