My tank was slightly irritated by the litter of BRS alk That me and my apex put in it. Makes for a good time to show off my project x mouths, looks like I’ve gained 2 since last check.

What has happened to yours? Also, they can eventually put babies off a dead skeleton. Don't remove it, give it some time to see if it will produce the babies.
I can keep them alive for about a month and then they just slowly fade away. I've tried probably a half dozen because I like them. I've tried everything from daily target feeding to no target feeding. Doesn't make a difference. They just don't like my tank for some reason. Tank is SPS/LPS tank set up for years and everything does well except those for some reason.

I've had the same problem, and have no idea why

So they propagate by splitting? Is there a way to artificially propagate them?

The project x fungia was messed with in Reefgens lab, they won’t tell us why it has more mouths. Mine has made two babies by forming on the bottom and I fragged it from there. I have seen a reef member in CO have a regular fungia That dropped babies regularly. They also mass spawn after death.

They can be cut and fragged as well but I don’t know how on a single healthy one.

The color is still coming back after the spike but at least it’s tenticles and appetite are back

All I can say is WOW! I had no idea there was so much variety in the world of fungia.

It's no rainbow, but is definitely the rarest coral in my tank. Here is our all blue fungia. Wish the picture could show how stunningly blue it really is. Anyone else have one of these?

Just got this guy. Should I assume he's of the short tentacled variety?

He did just eat some pellets but this as much as his tentacles extended.
