For me it was orange bam bams(twice), go figure....

I have had these for years and they were the first ones I thought of. I have good growth and great color for 6-8 months then extreme meltdown. The cycle just keeps repeating and at my last count I had around 30 polyps. I had atleast 100 two months ago. I'm sure when they get back up to 100 they will melt, like every other time.

I had about a 10 polyp frag of magicians that melted over night, but i now have a frag that ive had for a year thats doing great. Plus you need to add pink zippers to the list i had a huge colony rock of about 200+ that disappeared in about a week causeing me to melt just about :sad:

I've had VDM melt and am currently watching a JF bloodshot melt

I've tried to keep Fiery Phoenix four times now and they always end up melting. Same with Mayan Sun.

Yeah the bloodshot did good for about a week and then just closed up and isn't responding to anything I'm trying to do for it. It will be a tough loss for sure

I had the exact same thing happen to mine! Guess I'm not the only one.

Had 2x polyp Fruit loops. Melt in 3 days after I got them. Never gave me a chance to save it.. T _ T

Darth Mauls are the worst! I had a single polyp turn into 20+. I fragged it and sold a frag to a well known reefer on here. My colony continued to grow and the frag sold did great. About 2 months later my colony melted and the frag I sold melted. I swear they come with an internal self destruct timer!

Darth Mauls, wows, magicians, blue and purple hornets

I had a 2p frag of wows grow to about 100+ in 7-8 mos (pics to prove it)...I fragged them once when they were around 20-30 polyps. Both colony and all the frags did well. I fragged them a second time, the colony and half the frags melted throughout the course of the next month.

(Knocking on wood as I type) I think I came across a hardy strain of JF Bloodshots, I've fragged my JF Bloodshots 3 times and they've done great! I actually find that the frags grow faster!

Ive never been able to keep Candy Apple Reds or Lunars. My Fruit loops just melted but they came in cold and poorly shipped so I figured. Keds reeds have melted twice on me too. Some of the crazy PE morphs have been iffy but stablized after a while.

I swear zoas go through melting stage no matter what kind they are. I've even had a colony of eagle eyes melt for no reason. Dormant, growth, melt, repeat.

For me it's been tyree space monster ,went from 1 to 3 and has been small expansion barely a visible skirt. Medium light. Also goblins fire x2. I don't think they melt but are gobbled up by asterinas at night! Lol! Pretty ladies 4 healthy looking polyps high up but no multiplication.

I've had magicians, red people eaters and candy apple reds melt on me. I feel some zoas go through it more than others.
