Official Prayer Thread!! (Prayer Request)

Hi

Really could use everyones prayers. My brother has renal cell carcinoma and is having trouble on finding a medication help slow it down. He is only 40 and has 3 boys and at this rate he is lucky to live an other year. I have put all of my faith into god and I know he will do as much as he can for him. If would mean all of the world to me me if you all could say a prayer for him.

Update: I had surgery on the 16th and my recovery has been tough, but easy compared to other patient's surgeries. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!

Please remember the Duttine family and say a pray for them. They are a part of my community. I couldn't imagine going through what they have and will continue to go through every day....:sad:

"Cancer never hits a family easily, but in the case of the Duttine family, of Whitehall Borough, the disease has been especially rough.Jaden Duttine, son of Joseph and Julie (Andrulonis) Duttine, was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 2. Jaden has since turned 4 and is doing better, but he is still not out of the woods.
And mother Julie, at the age of 36, who fought cancer alongside her son for two years and for much longer overall, died from the disease on Wednesday, Dec. 7."

Hi guys, I really need support prayers from all of you. My brother in law who lived in Munich, Germany has lost his job a month ago. So I hope maybe you can spare time to pray for him.

You brother in law is in my prayers and thoughts, unemployment is such a scary thing. I hope he can find something soon.

May I ask some prayers for my friend whose son took his own life on New Years Day. This was his first born and they were as close as a dad and son could be, but obviously not close enough. My friend is the best dad a kid could ask for. He is completely heart broken and is having a horrible time getting past this. Unfortunately he lived with his mom so my friend only saw the happy child that came to stay every other week, and not the troubled child. Thank you

Thank you Sbrob, Angels 2010. Nowadays, I've seen so many people had a bad condition in their life because of the economy crisis. I also in the middle of crisis too. But I know for sure, God have a beautiful plans for us. Our time is His time, but His time is not ours. Keep in faith and believe.

What an amazing thread! I've never seen anything like this on any other site (unless is was specifically a religous or support type forum). I will follow it and offer my prayers as you post peoples needs.

That said, my family could really use some prayer right now too. We are dealing with a host of issues. Our biggest hurdles right now are a bit of a financial crisis and the need for some healing in our marriage. If you would be willing to pray for solutions to our finical issues and healing for our marriage I would be most grateful.

Please pray for my grand father, he was diagnosed with non small cell carcinoma a couple weeks ago. It is an extremely aggressive fast moving cancer. He came to visit me just before Christmas and seemed fine, today he has lost consciousness and is talking about past events from his life in his sleep. He probably only has a couple days left and I ask that you pray for his comfort and for a warm welcoming into heaven, and that he sees his son (my dad who was killed by a drunk driver a couple years ago, which was very hard on him). He lives in MN and I'm down here in MS, with me being in school unfortunately the next time i see him will most likely be his funeral.

At least he came to visit before Christmas to meet my son (his great grandson).

Edit: he passed away about thirty minutes ago...around 11:15 AM

I'm sorry to hear that bct15, I'm sure all of the member of his family truly had a great loss. But I'm sure your grand father is now on heaven watching over you guys. God has His own plan for you and your family through this moment.

Thanks guys, yeah it is gonna definitely be a very felt loss and he is missed. I know he is in a better place though, now my one year old gets to fly for his first time tomorrow to the funeral. I hope he behaves...
