I believe I can make this work with the right partners; I am looking for 1-2 people to join me. With respect to R2R, I am going to take this offline to avoid any unwanted chatter on here. If it works, I will be glad to share with everyone how we did things. With that said, is there anyone who wants to join me on a group buy? With 1 coral and limited partners, this should be a fairly quick turn around. Please PM me your email so we can discuss the details. :)

Nevermind, I see what happened with the other thread.

I had lost interest in the thread and had no idea it went belly up before it even happened.....

I don't blame you.

If I didn't already have a frag lined up, I'd go in with you. I know you're a stand up guy with healthy corals so you have my vote of confidence and if anyone is interested, you're the guy to do it with :D

FYI, from what Ive seen it grows very fast and I think a 3 person grow out would be cake. I doubt it'd need to go longer than 3 months ;)

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Ian! I have enjoyed trading with you in the past and hold you in high regards as well! :)

I think a smaller growout is definitely better. I'm doing a one to one swap. My partner is getting a Crazy Fox Rainbow frag, and my My Miami frag has a second eye now, so hopefully after a couple months we can do the same thing.

Yah after the blowup with the previous try, I feel the smaller group will benefit as well. Do you have a pic of your second eye? and how long have you had the frag before it sprouted an eye?

I can also vouch with Sone . Dealth with him 3 yrs ago and one of the nicest, well care corals..

Ian u made me read than thread... lol... oh well lol

Thanks for your support, Steve! You have beautiful corals and make me drool with the pics you post! :)

Send me a PM with your email. I don't want to hijack this thread.

This group buy of the My Miami Chalice has concluded. I would like to thank my 2 partners for their patience and for having confidence in me to grow out the frag.

I received the frag directly from Jason back on November 19, 2009. The package was a few hours late and the frag came in with part of the flesh ripped off the frag. I didn't know if it would survive but Jason ensured me it would be OK and he would take care of me if it didn't; thanks Jason!

Anyway I glued the two pieces back together and hoped for the best. The small frag miraculously survived and started to heal. Once we knew the piece was healthy and growing, we decided to sell the bigger frag and kept the smaller one to grow out.

Once the frag grew out to 3 eyes, I fragged it and let it heal up for nearly a month before shipping it out to my partners. As of today, we all have a healthy frag of the My Miami Chalice.
