OG's 120g build

Well this is my new build. It will be a slow build. I haven't found a tank manufacturer yet but I do want a 60x24x20.

So I'm starting with the stand. Made the cuts today but I still need another 9 feet of steel.

Well I made a little progress ( told you it would be a slow build) I haven't welded the stand because I don't have room for it right now but I did place the order for the tank. I decided to go with Crystal Dynamics. I'll be welding the stand soon.

Heard from crystal dynamics and my tank won't be ready before I take off to Oregon so they are going to hold it until I get back. Finally got the top and bottom frame welded. I'll put the legs on on Monday and start looking for a powder coating shop near me

Finally got my stand back. I took it to a company before I left to Oregon and when I got back it still wasn't ready. After a month, I went and it still wasn't ready so I took it somewhere else. This other guy did a great job and he got it done when he said he would.

Next step is to get under the house and place some foundation jacks so that there is no movement.... Hmmm or I'll order a new sump. We'll see.

I called Crystal Dynamics and they said that the tank is assembled but the silicone is still currying and it will be another week and a half before they ship it

Haha it won't match but maybe once I skin it it'll look better. Yeah, right now I'm considering a PVC sump but not sure yet. It'll have to house the alpha 300 though

Got a text from Trenton. The tank is ready! Now we just have to line up our schedule for delivery. Stand is ready for the tank!

Yes. Jason at Tropical Reef and Fish had an Alpha 200 body lying around so I bought it and I'm going to use one of the red dragon pumps from the alpha 300.

Thanks! The skimmer and zeo reactor are out getting fitted to the sump. Hopefully I will have that in a month.

Hey E've, I am curious about you running Zeovit. Have you done this before, or is this something new for this build?
Saw your thread on the "other" forum, but no mention of Zeo in that one.

This is the second time I run zeovit. My current 40G was on zeovit from the start. Im going to continue running zeovit on this build too.
