Do I dose everyday?

Trying to get my PH up.

I was told to add the small ring in the middle of the cap and that the water will get cloudy and that's ok but if it started to "snow" that not to dose for a week.

I think that testing just a tad of water in the cap for snow is going to get you into trouble. You need some valid test kits to test everything. When changing your ph you need to keep an eye on your Alk at the same time. What is your current ph and alk? Where are you trying to get too?
