Well I can't say I wasn't warned... because I was definitely warned! I'm completely addicted to SPS now I purchesed my first stick not to long ago, and over a couple of months that collection has completely taken over one side of my tank! As if I didn't spend enough already! Man this hobby is just so rewarding! I took the plunge now 7 years ago, and have just reached into the SPS world and couldn't be more pleased!

Only problem now is I need a bigger tank :)!!!

FWIW, I feed before I do anything to my tank so as to get them fed before I harass them. :)

Well I went and did the full switch! I now only have a couple of bubble tips left and some LPS! No more softies! I also picked up my first doser! Beyond excited to get this moving forward! I added 2x more power heads for more flow!
I went with an aquamedic reef doser! Any tips/tricks new to dosing!

My tip is to check alkalinity every single day and make dosing adjustments accordingly (slowly). If you have enough light and flow, keeping alkalinity stable seems to yield pretty consistent success despite levels of nitrate, phosphate, coral feeding or lack thereof, etc. That green slimer is getting pretty big, so you are doing something right.

It also always seems like tangs and wrasse go along with great SPS tanks (which, I see, you have). The waste from all the tang eating of algae seems to be perfect Acropora food, and wrasse eat off any possible pests.

My wrasse cruises the corals all day long! Nothing can survive lol
Yeah! I agree I'm starting with small doses and have already seen explosive extensions and growth! Here is a pic of my warcoral in just a week of dosing!

It was just encrusting on one side of it, I had to move it because it's sweepers we're coming out so far and it's growing quite fast! New growth in every direction!
