bristle tooth worm or fire worm they have a heck of a sting but make a great cleanup crew when numbers are kept in check. just don't over feed.
if you don't want him take some pantyhos and put some shrimp in em. they will get trapped and you can just toss em out.

Looks more like an eunicid worm. I wouldn't have wanted to stick my hands into that tank, it's a good thing you get it.
