Yep, knackered. I would never be able to sleep well.

Personally I did it to my tank a few months back getting it set up. I still run it with no issues but I have it in the basement where water damage isn't an issue just in case!

Took a good chunk out of the glass. Filled with silicone and called it a day

Appears as surface crack but would not trust under pressure BUT I do know of a couple persons who had similar and took the tank to an auto glass specialist who pressure sealed (similar to impact chip on a windshield) and was able to strengthen it. Realize its a risk you take

I know it’s a real pain, but that’s in a bad spot. Fill it and let it set for a few days. See what happens

Looks like yours is on the outside, your’e lucky.

It is all the bad ever. On the bright side, it'll make a fantastic terrarium. I'd never put water in it again though.

It’s full and not leaking so we’ll see where things are tomorrow. That water is from the overflows.

Sorry to hear about your tank. Such a shame. I used to have a 180 bow front many years ago. Its a great tank. Didn't know they still sold them. I had to have one of mine replaced due a seam coming apart in that same area. I would not risk it. Even if it holds water over night.....that means nothing. Good luck in your decission and hope it goes well for you as its a beautiful tank.

Still holding good and bought some tank bond 3000psi, to put on that area just in case.
