Oh the little things....

After lights out I decided to peek into my sump area and see what kind of weirdness I could find today. Guess I looked at just the right time. Heard a click and watched the heater turn on. Then a trickle of water from my ATO into my return section. As it filled to the proper "Full" line, it cut off as it should. SUCCESS! It's the little things that make me happy in my reefing adventure.

What's something that may seem small to others but you get excited about?

watching my skimmer overflow container turn off the skimmer when it gets full. I love that, knowing I won't get nasty skimmate everywhere, or back into my tank. Of course the reverse of that is knowing that I then have to go empty my skimmer overflow container, but it is fun for the little moment, that little thing...

Mine is after a water change and everything settles out. Seeing how vibrant and lively the corals seem to be.
