With all the issues that can arise at any given moment it’s nice to sit back sometimes and appreciate the moments when the corals are so healthy and all systems are running smoothly.

Go ahead and share your favorite personal coral! Mine has quickly become this WWC Grafted Sunfire Monti cap.

Not all that long actually. Maybe 2.5yrs to 3yrs. I had a monti infection in my tank and lost them all over 4 months. Started with a alk spike. I switched my tank over after that. Did not want more montis dying. loved these guys. Should have seen my plating ones.

Well, it began with the alk spike, then I tried to frag some of the corals and infection set in. It was so hard to watch and little I could do. I saved some lps and many corals were not infected, but none of the montis made it.

Calcium reactor. Not sure how or why, because it was literally overnight and stable after that. Ca Rx can be tricky to dial in correctly and do need to be adjusted as demand increases. I had been running it for over a year or more when it happened. Only spiked to 10, but I think that is where it began. It is normally right around 8.5. This happened in Jan and by May all montis lost.

Some of it my fault. I was only 4 years into hobby and I thought I could frag them out. Caused more issues.
