I think the campfires from our latest group buy are melting. I want to catch this now, how effective are iodine dips for palys that have decided to go the way of the dodo.? What else can I try at this point?

Campfires are usually hardy. I wouldn't go too heavy on the Iodine, I think Revive is less harsh if you have that at your disposal. Good luck! :(

I may try revive, it's odd, zoas usually love my tank, but yellow jackets and wow palys have melted in the past 2 months, these are starting to close up, I don't want to risk it going further than it needs to.

Just lost mine 3 days ago... It's something in the air lol... I was very depressed man it was my favorite zoo I had... Lost my tyree orange rainbow today... Getting ready to Off my whole collection!!!! I'm fed up with them...

I would say it really depends on what is taking them out; maybe 50/50. It certainly won't hurt them, unless they are already to far gone then they just dissolve.

I hate the z&p game sometimes.... One day the happiest colony of purple hornets, that I grew from a single polyp to over 30, all closed up and never opened all the way again... I tried dips and everything. I am not sure if it's related, but when I notice my corals starting to look unhappy and all my params are in line, I just open the windows to my house and let everything air out. Seems to perk everything back up. They don't seem to have the issue during the times of the year when I have windows open anyways due to nice weather, but definitely when I don't get fresh air in my house due to the cold weather outside.... I see them occasionally irritated. Again... could it may have nothing to do with it, but it can't hurt to add it to the list of things to try. Good luck man.

I wonder if there may be something to this technique, I imagine the air in our houses.apartments gets quite stale after a while.
