I got this tank and these fish and set this up for a total of $5 but i have no idea about freshwater and it makes me nervous.

Fresh water is a dream compared to salt. Just rodi water, filter and heat and done.

I have used tap water many times with a decolonization.

I figured it should be simple, but this was like a fish save deal so I accepted blindly.
