Oil Vanish

@Randy Holmes-Farley I used an oil varnish on my office furniture, and to finished my tank stand. I need to oil everything and this sounds like a wimpy question, but can I oil my office furniture and stand without effecting the tank/kids? They are all in the same room. The varnish is a natural product with linseed oil and natural resins (bees wax). It is FDA approved for use in food operations.

Do you have the brand name?

It likely is fine, but will smell.

Extra GAC in the tank would be a good plan.

Not yet, I figured what the heck and will this Sunday. I figure if it was safe for food surfaces it should be fine. If you would like I can report back if I get some floaters
