I see there an oilly firm on my skimmer compartment, what is that and how can i get rid of it?

Most likely lipids, your protein skimmer only picks up organics that have a charge.
Some ideas.
What are you feeding? If frozen, let the cubes thaw before feeding and dump the waste water then feed. Or change brands to one with less “filler liquids”
common brands seen in store i like hikari, omega one, some san fransico( if it says spirlina i avoid lol) and Poseidon. There are other good brands that i see less often in my area. I dont buy online because of the cost of shipping frozen food.
If feeding dry foods, feed less, add a few frozen feedings a week. Try brands like NLS.
