Oily Film on Inside Glass

Noticed a stingy film of grease/oil from the inside glass of tank. Not sure if it was there (most likely) before filling in tank. I did a wipe-down of the inside before filling, but guess not good enough. The Flipper/scrubber does not remove it. Running my fingers through it leaves a streak. Any suggestions on removal? I'm thinking of scraping the inside with a blade but would like to hear some suggestions first. Thanks.

Photos were taken at a steep angle to reveal streaks.

Unless it’s hard a razor blade probably won’t help.. maybe try a Mr. Clean magic eraser (original), they also make thin sheets now that work great for cleaning glass.

No idea what the film might be. But a wide / flexible flat blade paint scraper would do well.

Skeptical and hesitant at first. Did some research on magic erasers and found other reefers using it to remove algae. Gave it a try, lo and behold it was like magic. Not sure what that film was but it felt oily. Issue rectified. Amazing. Thanks.
