I just ordered a longhorn cowfish, koran angel, and a melanaruses wrasse to go into my 300 gallon reef tank. They all said reef safe but proceed with caution. Anyone have any experience with these fish. All positive and negative feedback is welcome. Thanks

If you've already ordered them, the horse is out of the barn. Not sure where you saw "proceed with caution," but the angel is not reef safe. I think you're fine with the melanarus, and I have no experience with the cowfish.

Dang, maybe i can bring him to my local lfs when it comes in for a credit. Ordered from coral imports

Koran angel is NOT reef safe, it is a big time coral eater except for sps.

Cowfish will nip fleshy LPS, but are very personable, though are toxic if stressed.

Melanurus are coral safe, but may eat cuc as they get larger.

Contacted coral imports before they shipped. Theyre going to send a blonde naso tang instead of the koran angel. Thanks for the info.

Impulse buy? Lol not to be that guy but you ordered fish when your research wasent complete.

Yes i am quite embarrassed about it as well, as i try to take pride in providing the best care possible. I am glad the guys at coral imports were able to do trade before it shipped. Definitely will research thoroughly in the future. Thanks again everyone!
