6 days ago i installed a 5 gallon sump for my 35 gallon Hexagon tank. Ever since ive had micro bubbles galore! Oddly enough, its not coming from the sump. Im super puzzled

Do you have any rubble rock in your sump? As I understand it having that in one of the partitions between the return pump and skimmer can help reduce micro bubbles. Just make sure you rinse the rock in RODI water really well before putting it in.

That is a lot of bubbles.....it has got to be coming from the sump somewhere...I assume if you shut off your return pump the micro bubbles in the tank go away eventually? Doesn't look like you have a skimmer which would be the most obvious place to look. Is it possible air is being sucked in through any of your PVC joints? I would just start shutting off equipment one piece at a time (the powerheads for example...they don't look that high but is it possible they are pulling air from the surface) just to see if you can track it down.
