ok so my alk shot up and i need help

ok so my alk was sitting at 9 but then i switched to rodi then my tank got cloudy i thought it was a bacteria bloom but as i was testing my water i could my alk at 12 and i know that alk swing can sometimes cause cloudy water and plus my candy cane coral was not as puffy as it was so is there anything i can do to fix this besides 20% water changes throughout the week

How to Lower Alkalinity with Muriatic Acid

Can someone please point me to the article or calculator on how to accomplish this? Thank You

If the increase is negligible just allow it to com down naturally. If done recently you can drop it using the above link

my salt mix is instant ocean reef crystals my ph is 8.2 my nitrate is 3 my salinity is 1.024 and i dont have kits for anything other than what’s listed
