Ok to use?

Ok I know 2 part magnesium mix is magnesium chloride, and magnesium sulfate. I have access to 2300G of this stuff(looks to be just plain magnesium chloride and water), just wondering if it would be OK to use mixed with Epsom salt(magnesium sulfate), and ok to use in the tank?

If it is, any way to calculate how to dose it?

It is the right chemical, but I cannot assure adequate purity.

I would use it.
Mag chloride hexahydrate is whats recommended

But purity matters.

It is used on the roads in winter by the DPW, and I was more worried about purity given it's application.

Think I'll just stick to BRS chemicals.
