Okay, I did it AGAIN.

My stomach is turning so bad....if this nem don't live I will be so heart broken....like a real kind of heart broken...like losing a dog :(

When we lost a anenome a long time ago I remember that it looked like a pile of mush. You couldn't see any tentcles and of course It wasn't attached to anything. We had to use a net to get it out and the smell was beyond gross. And this happened over night. Can you post more pictures of what it is looking like today?

Here's what it looked like 2 minutes ago

Now it's showing a little bit more life and a couple minutes has passed... In these pics you can see the wounds/white stuff I was talking about.

When we first brought it home...it was literally a pile of white stuff with no hope...deff looks better ....but not good enough to say it's not gonna die :(

We placed it where it could rest yet still have connection for it's foot and support...good light and medium flow... So nervous :/

Now we have a tiny fire worm messing with him -_- getting very frustrated

What a cute little nem. Hoping it pulls through for you, at least you are trying to save her. I have noticed with things, and let me say I have no experience with any SW nems/corals/ ect, that usually they look the worst the next day when they are recovering, and slowly pick back up. So hopefully she is just resting some today, to build up strength and recover.

At least it's still alive ....that's a plus.. it has enough energy to retract and inflate....it's just got some holes....and acts like it's never been fed

Bta are very tough creatures. I used to cut them in half with a fillet knife. Do yourself a favor and just leave it be. I wouldn't try to feed it because that might attract your clean up crew to come get a free meal.

My mushrooms extract the same thing when they split then the next day they are fine...but I've seen a condy I collected from the inlet get demolished by a hidden crab in my live Rock and it was vicious...and spewed the same substance...it didn't make it.... I'll be upset but it's life...

I've had bubble tips look far worse and then come back fine. I've also had perfectly healthy ones just disappear in the tank - twice, really weird. Don't be tempted to mess with it, feed it, etc. Just let it be and keep the tank stable.

I tried to save the very same type and color from petco a few weeks ago also. Unsuccessful though

unfortunately I have lost a few. they will turn into an almost translucent jelly blob and start floating around the tank. as long as he is attached and not free floating around. and responding to touch I would have hope.
